Macrame Hands-On Workshop: 2/16 at WorKS KSQ

BACK by popular demand!

We are super excited to partner with a local macrame designer, Melody Lane, and re-introduce this intimately sized hands-on Macrame workshop for our WorKS customers! I’ve always wanted to learn how to macrame and now we have the opportunity. Limited space available.

PS Melody is our WorKS February artist of the month, so if you have not been in to WorKS recently, you can also view her beautiful pieces the next time you pop in!

Melody Lane, a local macrame weaver, will guide you through the hands-on instruction of learning 3 different knots, and how to create a pattern; then will assist in you creating your very own macrame hanging planter design. We at The Farm at Oxford will supply the planter AND include a selection of plants designed to fit into your planter. You take home a completed (or almost completed piece depending on your working pace!) piece ready to hang in your home! (Note, our image here is an example design only)

WorKS Kennett Square at 432 S. Walnut Street, KSQ. Our small botanical shop is located inside as well, but we’ll be setup in a special spot for this mini workshop.

Saturday, February 16 at 1pm, classes usually run to around 3pm

The class fee covers all your materials for the hanging macrame piece; and includes a planter and plant meant to complete your design. Just bring yourself and your creative mindset! Be sure to get there about 5-10 min before class to get all setup AND give yourself extra time to checkout all the awesome artisans at WorKS if you have never been to visit.

Location: WorKS at 432 S. Walnut Street, in KSQ. Ample parking in the WorKS lot.

Sorry, we are unable to accommodate refunds within 7 days of the event as we must plan in advance for the required materials.  Please do not inquire about exceptions.
