One of my fave single striking varieties.

New York Night' bears 2½-3”, single flowers with shades of black that include deep grey-purple, jet black, and black-purple- bred for vigor. 

Hellebores love part shade or winter/early spring sun - and rich soil. Plant them as soon as you get them and mulch the crown to protect - but be sure to remove mulch once we are past very cold weather (mid Marchish).
